RE: Paco Pena Alegrias tab available... (in reply to mrgearbox)
This would indeed be a nice piece to try to ear play yourself. It is relatively simple and it can be very rewarding to find your way through the notes. If you watch it on youtube itself you can play it at 50% of the speed, making it a bit more easy to fallow things.

Thanks for the replies everyone, I'm not sure how to go about using/finding a program to slow down the video. Could you steer me in the right direction with regards to that? It's probably fairly straight forward, but I've never used/seen that. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll look forward to giving it a try.

View the video on the youtube website by clicking on the white title of the video frame above. Then there will be a gear logo for the settings where you can select 50% speed.

Ha, that figures! Thank you for your quick reply, I'll begin to view this much slower now. Not sure what it is about this particular version, but I really can't get enough of listening to it. I suppose an attempt to tab it out would take me quite a long time, but I think it'd be worth it in the end!

I just watch the video on YT & figure stuff out on the spot (no slowing down or anything). It's not as hard as you think... Obviously my technique sucks & my nails are catching & I'm making mistakes & my compas is off, but I just wanted to show you that it can be done really fast... Cheers!

Wow robsix, that's really cool of you to do - thank you. I need more time before I'm able to figure out chords, and fingerings simply by watching, but your video really has helped. I'm working out of his music book right now and that's somewhat of a challenge in and of itself ~ thanks again!
