And if you carry it in a bright RED case, chances increase tenfold.

Whenever I carry my Red Metropolitan Humicase case I receive enthusiastic reactions on the street, elevators or airplanes. People always assume that such unique look must be that of a real major musician.... little did they know...

I often get the same reaction. And when they ask what I play, I say, "I play at a bit of flamenco." It is the honest truth. I do play at a bit of flamenco. But they always assume I am being modest and I must be some exotic guitarist playing that stuff, and I just smile and do not disabuse them of their illusion.

and if you pull it out and actually play it, then you are 100% guaranteed action. And if you have long hair, forget about it, you need to keep a taser gun in your guitar case when things get out of control.

I think the only way women around here would be impressed with a guitar is if the sound hole was stuffed with money or you packed the guitar into the front of your crotch

You guys are complicating the whole thing now, long hair? [count isn't the only thing I am losing] playing really well? while inebriated? and showing the 'doe', lots of it?

I liked the way Escribano had it originally; let's keep it that simple and wishful...:

Good news. I think from now on i will carry a light weight empty guitar case with me whenever i go out of my flat, even if i just go out to buy some food or something....just in case. who knows.

I think carrying the guitar only is too obvious and kind of blatant, like "look, i carry a guitar, i want girls"... but carrying a guitar case is more subtle and insinuating and probably even adds an additional 10% chance. So the study is not detailed and accurate enough imo.

Then again, the problem with a guitar case is that
1) the girl doesn't know whats inside. if she would think that there is a a classical guitar in your case for instance, that would decrease your chance by 100%
2) what if she asks you to open the case and play something?

By the way, how about the color and form of the case? does it give some bonus too if you have one of those estuche de fibre blancas? or negra? which one gives an additional 5% chance?

It was my old buddy Pat H. who came up with the idea. It worked like a charm. While we were university students, we would prowl the areas dense with student apartments on Friday and Saturday nights until we located a suitable party going on. Then, carrying our cased guitars we would knock on the door. When it was opened, we would announce, "We are the guitar players."

Seldom were we denied admission. We would find a drink and a place to sit, and break out the guitars. Seldom did we go home alone.

great idea man. simple but effective. thanks for that.

i could combine this idea with fredguitarraole's idea, i will carry the guitar, my buddy the condoms.

problem is we are not students and are getting old.
so : 2 condoms are probably more than enough :/
and we have to find good alternative places with a lot of mature woman.

ok, back to a more scientific approach before C.Vega shows up and tells us to grow up or something.

It might depend on where you are. Here, if you are carrying a guitar women want to know if you sing. If you don't, they lose interest. If you do, you're in. But if you sing country... orgy! Alas, I don't sing nor am I into country. I'm more of a one woman kind of guy anyways.

You make a great point, Arash. It is amazing how playing a few "Spanishy" riffs can really impress a woman (or anyone else, for that matter) who knows nothing about flamenco.
