Just read into this thread. Rogeliocan, If your pain is bound to permanent muscular strain in the lower back ( which would be very common ) pushing receptors of the annular muscle belt connceted to the pubic bone will do wonders. Maybe someone who knows of biokinematics ( possibly your chiro ) can follow the hint ( and also show you how to push at the pubic bone yourself when in acute need ). Again, provided a very common muscular issue, just as common exercises for lower back should help you primarily. Like lying on your belly and pulling weight with your lower legs ( towards your butt ) - you can use that elastic band for it -, or having someon sitting on your legs while you pushing up your upper body on a table. Start out in moderate measure. Work smoothly without sudden moves and don´t cross the treshold of pain. Stephen, From what I read chances are that your problem is based on common inbalance as well. Which means that the front flexors are being in superiority to the backs extensors. It would be a bit difficult for me to try describe the optimal isometrical exercise to you, so here in simpler dynamic ways: Exercises for prolonging big and small breast muscles should be what you need. Keep in mind however: Prolonging. Which means that you need to work in the weak outer range of the muscles instead of in the optimal power range. Hence, for the bigger breast muscles: Lay with your back on bench with weights in your hands, opening your arms T-wise as fully as you can ( arms bending backwards below bench hight ) and work from there. For small muscles same procedure only not T-wise, but instead of rectangular from your bodys central line, at a 45° angle. Do this every second day ( one day rest for new muscle tissue to build up / have muscle prolonged ). After ~ 2 weeks when you see significant build up of strength in the weak ( fully extended ) range, start caring for the anatgonists ( the muscle group that must be actually troubling you ). For that do push-ups. Alter exercises daily. Ergo: One day breast flexing, one day push-ups. All the best! Ruphus

That's great news! @Escribano I think at this point is safe to say that chiropraxy is woo and osteopathy is somewhere on the fringe, with studies suggesting some good results on some things it claims to do but also suggesting that it might have no effect at all on other things. I've personally had some good results in the past with osteopathy. However, I would just add that it's not because they "just manipulate with their hands" that they can't cause harm. Six years ago I walked into the office of a highly reputed osteopath for a minor problem in the upper neck. I walked out with severe tinnitus and that has been with me ever since, 24/7, to the point where I ended up having to get therapy to learn how to cope with it. And I don't just mean a small bout of ringing here and there, I mean loud enough that "real life" sounds seemed to be just faint background noises, loud enough to make sleep an almost impossible achievement. Since little is known about what causes tinnitus, I can't point to the osteopath and say he did anything wrong. All I know is that I walked into that office with no tinnitus at all, and I came out with a severe chronic case of it. Anyways, this isn't to dismiss all of osteopathy. I'm particularly fond of their "holistic" approach to certain things and yes in some cases it can work wonders. But it's more invasive than many people say and, as anything I suppose, it can be harmful. On the bright side, I can now cheat and act like I have perfect pitch. I don't of course, but I always have that reference "note" ringing in my head so I can find any note by comparing to it. Perfect relative pitch I guess
