YOU HAVE TO HAVE THIS PROGRAM!!!!!

Hi eveyone, I just thought you should all know about this great program i recently bought off the net. It's called "The Amazing Slow Downer" and (funnily enough) it can slow down music while keeing the pitch. This has been great for transcribing tunes and playing along with the compas Cds if they're too quick, or for playing along with Paco at a playable speed. It's the best practice tool i have ever purchased so go for it. You can even download a trial version to test it out. What have you got to lose???? her's the site www.ronimusic.com

I tried it once too, and liked it, until I found a software called transcribe! from seventhstring. It also slows down music without changing the pitch. I liked it better then Amazing slow downer for two reasons.

It shows you a waveform view of the file, which makes it much easier to navigate the file as you "see the sound".

It lets you set bookmarks in the file and save them, making it easier next time to go to the section of interest.

And it can analyze a sound and tell you what notes are being played. Its far from being perfect but it has let me identify some chords on occasion when I couldn't otherwise.

I guess that's three reasons....
