Time

My little girl went to her party for the finishing year of Primary school, up in the village hall.
Next year will mean serious work at the Secondary school.
Unlike my day, all the kids were seriously into how they looked, with the girls in nice dresses and the boys in kilts or suits.
A lot of the villiage folk, were a heap of fun, coming out in their classic cars etc.
A friend of mine picked up my niña and her friends in a well presented open top Triumph Stag, which was a car I used to own in the '80's.
God, it's so amazing to see all these little kid's grow up and start to take control over their own lives!!
These kids will be the Doctors, Scientists and Politicians of the future.
It only seems like 5 maybe 6 years ago, when I held that little bundle of new born nonsense in my arms, ....
At Aberdeen Maternity Clinic I remember driving up on November 5th, with the fireworks illuminating the night sky and then seeing my wife there, half naked and bright red as a billiard ball, huffing and puffing and the good Scottish midwife's saying...
"Our saying is, that when you come in here, you leave your dignity at the door...and pick it up again once you leave!" LOL!

5 or 6 years ago?... But it's not...
More like 11-12 years ago....and here she is looking like a lady!!
Es la vida...es Flamenco!!
Time passes so quickly....

cheers,

Ron
