My new Anders Eliasson blanca!!!
Hi to you all, I want to show you some photos of my first flamenco guitar, an Anders Eliasson blanca which I received yesterday, Februari 3th. Although (I normally play fingerstyle steelstring) my technique is not yet flamenco, I hear it's already sounding very flamenco and Anders says it will only be better in time. It is very easy to play and doesn't need much power in order to really sound great. The extra soundport gives a kind of surround sound, and the inlay looks very pretty. A guitar for life!!! By the way, the photos are made by Anders. His photos are way better than mine.

Hi Geert I´m glad the guitar arrived sound and safe. I was a bit worried because of the cold. I dont like shipping when its that cold. When I shipped it, the weather forecast of your region was a lot warmer but a cold front changed its direction. I´m glad its there and that we didnt have any problems. UPS was fast this time. The guitar is a 660/54mm It has a big potent sound but its very easy to play and I didnt notice the difference in size even though I play 650/53mm myself.

Hi Giambattista,
I know that you own that wonderful negra, because I saw it last October when I visited Anders Eliasson in his workshop in Spain. It was not finished yet but already looked astonishing beautiful. Please watch my post and YouTube video from Oct. 31 2011 on this forum where you can see it hanging at the ceiling in Anders'workshop.
When I ever can manage to save the money for a new guitar it sure will be an Anders negra guitar.

A video??? Haha, you are so funny. It's way better for the entire flamenco community that they don't hear me play flamenco guitar. Not yet. I just started some months ago with basic techniques such as arpeggio, alzapua, rasgueado and tremolo, playing these on an cheap second-hand spanish guitar. It's a world of difference playing now on my new Anders blanca, you can't imagine (or maybe you can). I will post a video for sure, but I need some time. By the way, can I upload a video to this foro only by linking to a YouTube video or can I upload it direct to the foro? Have to figure it out first. Thanks for all your kind reactions. Geert, Netherlands.
