Hey – I've got one signed by Manolo de Huelva. He didn't know how to write, so he signed it with an X. Trust me, it's authentic. I'll let you have it for only $50,000.
$50,000 sounds fair enough to me and of course I trust you. Is Paypal any good or is it a wire transfer only?
BTW is the guitar a really beat up one with no label?
All the better as it would make it more authentic IMO.
cheers,
Ron
No, no – it's authentic. Really. Manolo gave it to me personally. It's a . . . wait – I'm dusting off the label . . . it begins with an E. . . okay, I can read it now. Yes – it's an Esteban! An authentic Esteban! Forget it – the price just went up. Now I want $100,000!

Im not a handwriting expert but I've seen Sabicas' signature before (at Dennis Koster's place) and that look legit to me. He was pretty much illiterate and his handwriting was not very well developed.
well if any one is going to forge anything they would at least look it up to make it the same , as much as possible,....
But thats not the point ...if you went to a dealer with ANYTHING from a famous person the first thing he would ask for is some verification ,,, and if you didn't have it to satisfy him , then ,, could be , could be not ... dunno .... a "maybe " is not worth anything., YOu would also think that instead of just concentrating on the signature you would at least mention something about the guitar , which may or may not be a nice guitar .. but no , zip ....just the sig is of interest cos thats where the money is ......
Even if it is genuine, how much can a Sabicas signature possibly be worth on the autograph market? Maybe 25 bucks max on a good day? Outside the pitifully small (in the grand scheme of things) flamenco community, damn few people have ever heard of Sabicas. Add his signature to what appears to be a factory guitar and what do you have? A factory guitar with a $25 autograph on it. Whoopee!!!

You are right , I was just searching for PDL autograph picture which you can buy no prob and will not break the bank..not even mine /.
The guitar doesnt look like a 1A anything so its a cheap guitar that costs 25 more for the sig.. and of course you cant polish or clean the guitar without devaluing it , a bit , all in all not a great find .........
If anyone wants it contact the seller to get the story , price and guitar type ... me...........outtta here......
I have to say: compared to Sabicas, Paco's handwriting is INCREDIBLE -as this authentic picture testifies. His playing is not the only thing of super-human machine like perfection.
