i need a feedback about Hermanos Sanchez Lopez Solea' model that is no more in production. I couldn't find many reviews about it, only a small one on lasonata.com with the price of 1399 Euros. I was gonna get an Andres 2A that was for sale as a backup but unfortunately the guitar was sold to another lucky player that's why i'm searching for a used flamenca in a budget to use while traveling or to go around with and i found that guy near my town who is selling one in a perfect condition. You can see the photos in here:http://www.flickr.com/photos/alandalusy/sets/72157626066060498/
I'm gonna meet the guy and try the guitar so i need your feetback guys if owned or tried this model.
thanks in advance

this is left handed, no? at first I thought the pics were mirrored, but the label appears correctly.
By all accounts they make decent guitars. I'd check with Tom at LaFalseta - he had a Bulerias model that I almost purchased. He is likely familiar with this model.

haha, well that's a drag! if the bracing is symmetrical, maybe you can have a tech switch the nut and saddle for you? If the price is good and the sound is there, it might be worth looking into. Of course the sound and playability will be difficult to evaluate. I wonder if the seller can play?
I may consider shipping the Sigurdson overseas, but I want to try to find a closer buyer before I seriously consider that. I'll keep you posted. The negra can't ship internationally because of the brazilian rosewood and the strict border laws.

On a side note, this guitar is a right handed guitar just restrung for a lefty. You can tell if you look at the golpeador. The treble side is usually cut longer and on this guitar it is longer on the bass side which means it is a right handed guitar.

Tom you are the man! The guy replied to me saying that he is a lefty and that's the reason he is selling the guitar for but he said exactly what you said!
Allow me to ask you this, can you please tell me anything about this solea model? i saw that ''la falseta'' is still selling this model? Thanks!

Tomrocker, first of all, I like your name better because you have the "rocker" part.
The Solea was introduced not that long ago. Say two years ago. It was their entry level guitar. Before that, the 2F was their entry level and is again now. There just was no need for the Solea or much demand for it because the 2F is a very good guitar for the money. The woods I believe were just a tad bit higher grade than the Solea model with not a big price difference.
I think this used Solea will be a great guitar for what your wanting it for.

Hi Tom,
A friend of mine has a solea model. It's not bad. It responds well but you have to push it a bit. Good flamenco sound though. Good value for money i thought.

@Tom: Thanks man Tom was my nickname since i was 6! From Tom Sawyer's Adventures by Mark Twain& Rocker because i worked at the Hard Rock Cafe' as a bartender during college!!) I'm a Lefty too but i never learnt to play guitar as a lefty. I can't build chords with my right hand or practice chord exchange with it and i've always wished to know how a lefty like me can do that and i can't Thanks again for the nice info, i appreciate it.
Hey KMMI77 Thanks for the advice and for dropping few line helping me here. I believe you are right considering the value of money. It's really frustrating how many musical instruments do exist in Milan but nobody is selling any flamenco guitars! Only Alhambra 3F if you are lucky And if i have to order From Europe especially Spain, a guitar that i never tried or can't even find a similar one to try , then i prefer to get myself a fine new handmade one with a great value (( Andres waiting list ))
Respect

Are you sure about that? I thought, that the 2f/2f05 (actually the same from late '03) has always been the entry model, following by the solea, then 3f, 1f, 1f.extra?
When you take a look on the european prices, the 2f is 1150.- Euros and the Solea 1400.-
From what i've heard they stopped with the solea and 3f, because there was too less difference between the models - am i right?
RE: Hnos Sanchis Lopez Solea' Model 2007 (in reply to Tomrocker)
I met the guy today with a nice friend of him in my town, offered them lunch turned to be paid by them as they were in my town for work and they insisted to pay on their comany expenses
They left me for the Sanchis to try for like 2hrs as they had to finish some work where we met, then i offered to accompany them to a near Music shop that Luca was intending to check a Cordoba for a lefty. I bought his Sanchis , So he bought the Cordoba after trying it for like 20 minutes.. Here is a link for the photos i made for the guitar: http://www.flickr.com/photos/alandalusy/sets/72157626175860990/show/
Soon i'll post a video just to show how it sounds for anyone interested in this model as it was not easy for me to find any
Cheers:)
