If you're like me, you're always looking for new contemporary flamenco music. Juan Carmona has a new CD called "El Sentido Del Aire" I haven't seen much info on, so I thought I'd just share the news. It's very modern, mellow, but not as orchestrated or experimental as some of his other work, which is a good thing in my opinion.

Man, up until a few hours ago, I didn't even know about Juan Carmona. He revived my flamenco flame with that Borboreo buleria. It's just perfect to my ears. Man it's been so long I haven't heard something so "alive". My personal new hero

i like Borboreo and Orillas. but not Sinfonia Flamenco. thats not my cup of tee.
I agree, I was disappointed with sinfonia Flamenca. The beginning of the track entitled DJANGO was cool. The rest doesn't seem to go anywhere. Love Orillas though!

Orillas is one of the best albums I've picked up in the last few months, at least. I keep finding new things in there that just fascinate me. I mean, I like that orchestrated/Arabic/fusion stuff Guess I'll have to check out Borboreo and the new album!
