Video editing?

Somehow this is the calm before the storm:

I want to upload my results at learning "En el Tablao" by Niño Miguel as a video, but my recording starts with me cursing "f*ck you" against a box I kicked accidentally with my foot before recording and I don't want to put this on youtube

Problem is that Movie maker doesn't work on my computer.
Does anyone know a free video editor that can handle .mov videos?
Im really looking for something ridiculously simple. A cut function is sufficient.

Thanks,

Maximilian

You could try any of these depending on your set up.

Also, YouTube have released their own editing software. Having said that, I can't seem to find it on my account
