hey folks , after many days of soul searching - i just thought about lots of things i want to achieve , yes of course get the flamenco guitar going , but lots other things too, like get another language going , get a few piece on the piano up and running learn to cook a few different dishes, lose some weight , about 5 kilos be good !, work on my spelling haha.
just wondering how do you folks organize these things i seem to write goal lists vey year withthe same things listed , NO PROGRESS
it may seem overwhelming when you think about all the stuff you want to do but when you write it down, you make a concrete plan, it'll seem much more manageable.
so write a schedule, not goals!
make a checklist for everyday. put a check sign next to each activity as you finish them. it'll feel good to see a big list of check signs at the end of the day. if you see some missing, it'll motivate you to try to do better tomorrow.
exercise - 30-60 minutes guitar - 30 minutes piano - 30 minutes cook one meal (learn one new dish every week) study new language - 30 minutes
that's only 3 hours out of your day. when you know it's only for half an hour, it doesn't seem so bad. when your endurance strengthens, add more time. only if you want to.
a little everyday adds up BIG time! doing one hour of spanish a day for three months, i now know more spanish than french. and i took advanced level french for 5 years in school.
i have goals similar to yours except minus the piano and cooking. what language do you plan on learning?

Well i have reached that point of speak a few languages ok, but nothing Brilliantly, no problem there , just a hobbie, i speak English(Better that i type it ) , some Spanish , Greek , Japanese , Chinese read and write well, and must learn some Tibetan, i have also spoken (Basics only , thai, and various other asian languages.\
i guess like music and languages are related and i basically got into flamenco through learning some Spanish years ago
I face some truble too in organizing what to do. In this summer I am free of college classes,so I tried to build a better body becaouse I am thin,now after 2 months much better .But it is hard to do this with practicing guitar.I have to stop playing guitar after about 2 hours to go to the GYM and I think that is not enough.I am afraid to damage my nurves. but I don't feel I will couse a damage to myself with this rest between them.Somehow I feel comfrtable,then after the GYM I don't play guitar.So it is hard to do this two things together.
Also I am tring to prove my self in designing programmes,you know how time it takes.and I am afraid also to damage a nervus in the i finger I know a guitarist lost it by working long time with the pc's mouse (left double clicks) anyone hear such this accident ??????????
Then when I have college classes,I spend more than 10 hours almoust of the week days in college,and the guitar is forbidden there...
So Sadly guitar is not the nomber one in my schedule.But there is nothing ipossible to achieve.If it is hard to do now maybe it is possible to do the next year.So keep it in your mind and do not remove it....
