interesting. I figured she had some flamenco background. Musically and historically interesting from good aficionados. Her toque is obviously more classical guitar than flamenco but that is ok, she is not trying to sell herself as authentic. Her book is probably very interesting.

I liked her Paco Pena Soleares tutorial, I found it easy to learn from and she has a really nice teaching style. Like this video too.

I liked that they were having fun, just a good positive vibe.

I speak slightly more Spanish than your average gringo but not much but still it was worth watching.

Wonder if there is an English language version of her book.

And ya, vary classical toque, bet after a couple tequilas she shreds though ;)

Cool which one? Couple people in spain liked the niño Ricardo falseta we had as a challenge on foro here years ago. EDIT: oh I see she liked the Diego del Morao and Tomatito thing.

Jose still sounds good and sings 4 por medio. She is in Rondeña tuning. Very nice recording.

well, it is not for nothing the push back on trans doing female sports (this person is transgender). Unfortunately the confusion just goes back to emphasize the supposed "macho" aspect of the genre.
