July in Spain
Apart from it being rather warm (understated I know), are there any festivals flamenco or otherwise round Granada? Obviously this is going out to those who live in Spain. I am heading over towards Murcia with friends next year and want to introduce them to some good Flamenco rather than keep torturing them with my own.
July is a very busy time in Granada. Dont know exact dates yet but around this time there is the festival de Musica y Danza with flamenco every night, late at night. There's the festival Coral de Carbon as well.
The days are hot here then but the nights are cool, you just got to adapt, stay out of the sun, eat at midnight, stay up all night , sleep all day !!
Fantastic, sounds ideal. As for the adapting thing, I learnt the hard way the 1st time I came over. Never again heh. I didnt think I was gonna get off the plane on the way back.
However, I will ask again nearer the time, at least I know it will be busy. I have a friend who has a cafe bar type thing in Granada so I can kill two birds with one stone.
