Compiled Resources

Hi all!

Ive been searching lately for tabs and found quite alot of flamenco tabs but only in pdf files and some in gp format, is their any place i can get tabs that have some sort of movie or mp3 file with it for a newbie like me it really helps seeing someone play the piece. Would appreciate it alot, my e-mail is mstonequotes@mweb.co.za

Thx in advance

Tabs don't come by free, try buying encuentro books. Alain Faucher sells tab's. You've got to do a little effort. The foro is not the compiled resource and by my knowledge there isn't such a thing antwere on the internet.

Ok ill rather state it like this:
Can someone give me links to good flamenco sites, where to buy good tabs and good flamenco books online? Any kind of level of playing. That would be much appreciated.

Ive bought a few flamenco tabs before and did alot of effort trying to get a credit card but after a "moerse" mission i finaly got it . . .

I know lots of guys here have some of the Encuentro books. Being a bit of a newbie I just have the one, the Merengue de Cordoba, and when I first ordered it I thought it was a bit expensive, but now I actually think it's very good value for money. It gives you the basis for playing 20 different song forms, in music notation, tab and video. To learn all of it would be years of work!

There's a whole series, including very advanced ones from other great players.

I just ordered mine from flamenco-world.com, and I'm afraid the postage is a lot, but online order is the most practical way of getting them here in UK. I suspect the same where you are.
