I know lots of guys here have some of the Encuentro books. Being a bit of a newbie I just have the one, the Merengue de Cordoba, and when I first ordered it I thought it was a bit expensive, but now I actually think it's very good value for money. It gives you the basis for playing 20 different song forms, in music notation, tab and video. To learn all of it would be years of work! There's a whole series, including very advanced ones from other great players. I just ordered mine from flamenco-world.com, and I'm afraid the postage is a lot, but online order is the most practical way of getting them here in UK. I suspect the same where you are. A
