Thanks JB and Peter. mmmmmm maybe if ya get a chance u can post a pic that u like of Paco! I've been looking but I want one that maybe a little rare and shows alot of emotion, younger or older days..

hows that lol. you can be the first to portraitize the picture of a flamenco great from a picture of him when he was 17! lol

its amazing how much older i look now than this picture, 2 years ago....

That's really nice work, Kev!
I'm a draw-er too but have let it slip for a long time and having to almost start again from scratch like Eric Clapton waking up with no sinuses and no skills...
I think a caricature of a certain Hispanglic guitarist who features every now and then in this foro might be a good next one for you!

Thanks HM I keep looking at that pic of paco and it is really growing on me, but damn it will be a challenge mmmmm let me ponder on it.

Hey Kev, just had a look at your myspace - great stuff. I notice that Batucada Sound Machine are among your friends - have you seen them? I saw them twice at Womad a couple of years ago - very charismatic, serious energy.

I'm off to Jerez in 2 weeks to study Guajiras with Merche Esmeralda. Hope to have some stories and some pics to share when I'm back.

Hey Ailsa glad to hear u have been checking out kiwi talent hehehe yeah they are a great band live, really know how to get the crowd moving. Andrew the trumpet player is one of my best mates, he is like the energizer bunny, I get tired just watching him.
WOW u r off to Jerez to study our favourite, I am very Jealous. Hope u have a wonderful time and I can't wait to hear all about it.. Good luck..
