Nice - happy playing man! I remember when I first got my current guitar I only went into the shop to 'just try a better model', then I couldn't let it go - just had to have it. Came out of the shop poor but happy.

That is a sweet looking guitar! What made you decide on Indian Rosewood? I'm also curious about the scale and string height at the 12th fret. Congrats.

well, i'll tell ya what, i'll post some more pics and some more specs as soon as it arrives..... i'm super excited!

sound clips..... well, i can post a link to a really good recording that i DID NOT play lol

different guitar, same model and make, played by beau bledsoe

that's beau bledsoe www.beaubledsoe.com he's the guy that i worked with to do the arrangements for the guitar making. he is the american ambassador for salvador lol. great guy, really understanding and very attentive.

all together it only cost me 2300 bucks (USD) for the whole thing. i guess buying a guitar from mexico (mind you he's the top guy in the country) really is a wise thing to do considering the dollar to peso exchange rate.

though i have 3 saddles, one for accompanying, one for solo flamenco, and one for classical, this is the height of the middle one.... i think

7 mm @ saddle, 9-10 at sound hole

3 on the bass at 12 2.75 on the trebs

651 mm

upper bout (outside width) 11 inches 279.4mm

lower 14.25inces 362 mm

full length 39 inches 991 mm

body length 19 inches 483mm

depth, somewhere in the 4- 4.25 inches, dunno, measurin gthat was something i forgot to do

i didnt get directly in touch with him, i went through a great guy named beau bledsoe, you can check out the guitars at flamencokc.com

My suggestion, shoot him an email form the email on the site (if you need it i can just give it to you, im not gonna post it, for his privacy's sake lol)

he will work with you and is great at mediating. i'm not sure if salvador has any classicals, but i'm sure he'd be willing to make you one!!!

Did you get your guitar?

I ask because my Salvador Castillo blanca (660 scale, german spruce, spanish cypress)... came yesterday...

If you haven't received yet, than oh man are you in for treat.

I've owned a lot of guitars, but never have owned one this good.
