Every time, without fail, when someone comes to town (New York) to play a show, whether it be Gerardo, Paco, Tomatito, or the whole Flamenco Festival for that matter, something ALWAYS comes up and I can't go. Without fail. Now, after moving down here to Costa Rica, I resign myself to the fact I don't live in a hotbed of flamenco, as a matter of fact I don't anyone, and that I can't expect too many shows. Well, just imagine my grin when I found out that Gerardo is playing down here next week! I become excited about this, finally a flamenco show, and a damned good one at that. I tell my friends, get everyones interest up, make plans. Then I happen to look at my calendar...and realize that I have to go to Nicaragua. It figures! Todd PS Anyone here from CR?
