Picky Picado Question!
Hey mates, You know how PDL plays picado with his i and m fingers bent at the second articulation? I play that way too, however, I noticed that when I go fast, my fingers straighten out by themselves. Is that normal? Or is it that if I practice slower and with bent fingers, then gradually speed up, I'll be able to play fast while maintaining the bent "posture?" Another issue about bent articulations: when I play picado on the first string, my fingers are not as bent (at the second articulation) as they are when I play on the second, or third, or fourth, etc. Is that normal? Or should I move my wrist/palm closer to the soundboard/strings (like Vicente) or lower (towards the high E string) for this matter to be corrected (and thus have a fully bent posture about the second articulation when playing on the first string)? THANKS
