RE: best flamenco guitar at 1000 euros (in reply to Haithamflamenco)
Haitham, you have TOO MUCH money to spend, amigo! You just bought one guitar, you already have a Sanchis on the way, and now you're looking for more?
I would say stick with the Sanchis at that price, although Deniz tried one recently and dissagreed with my verdict, so TRY BEFORE YOU BUY. But Koella is right about the Burguet- my teacher recommends them to his students.

I liked the Sanchis, but Deniz DIDN'T. He seemed to think they were "over-rated". Not especially bad, but not great either. But most other people seem to think they are good value too, so I guess there might just be a few bad ones out there, which is why I said try before you buy. But I was referring to RICARDO SANCHIS CARPIO, NOT Sanchis Lopez.
As for my teacher, he doesn't get any money for promoting Burguet. In fact, he doesn't even play a Burguet himself... he plays a top-end guitar, because his playing is at a level where it is worth investing in such an instrument.
But he knows what he is talking about, and knows what a good Flamenco guitar sounds like. So he says, if you have a low budget (ie. less than £1000) the Burguet guitars are good value for money.

When im informed right, both guitars are build by the same people. Although on the former 2F it says Carpio, he didnt build it solely. Carpio only builds his 1A model.
Some years ago they cost 600 euro. Now they are 1200, and every year, the names of the models get longer: "special special modell 2007 - better sustain!" to justify the higher price. Maybe it is really getting better every year; so much that they have to raise prices 25%. But probably they are only trying to handle the big demand. Its good for the Hermanos Sanchis and the sellers, but if you look closely on the market, there are guitars that have a better price/performance ratio.
I would try to find a used Vicente Carillo. Or maybe Ricardo Sanchis Carpio modell Bulerias. There was one master guitar from 1998 on ebay for 900. With no bid. here
RE: best flamenco guitar at 1000 euros (in reply to Haithamflamenco)
jeff sigurdson would probably build you a very nice blanca for 1000 Euro. handmade by one luthier, rather than constructed in a workshop, and using better materials than you'll likely find in any valencian workshop guitar. i highly recommend his work for the money.
