Does anybody have the letras that El Pitingo sings in the song "Gwendoline". This song is usually accompanied on guitar by one of the carmona (ketama) brothers. The lyrics would be great...if anyone happens to have chord changes on this song, that would be great as well. Thank you so much. -Jorge-
That is what i hear, i like that more and more people like Pitingo, he will be one of the best!
It's my pleasure give these lyrics to someone who plays so well guitar:
Well, I got that sentence that i can't understand if anyone knows what he says i will be so grateful to know!

OK, as per online translation engine, that means:
There is fondness that speak to themselves, there is fondness that are lied, there is fondness that speak to themselves, there is fondness that are kept silent and these are those who feel.
This broken fondness I do not want them, what cajoles my soul, eternal love.
Of so much looking in you since you I am turning, of so much looking in you. That if the sea is so blue it is of looking so much at the sky.
Hearts partios I do not want them, that when I give mine I it give point.
And as Salomon said, and the sab points and as Salomon said that to be able to sing it is enough to be able to want.
And in small house Candle there is a rail that the Molilo had done to him, moan, of coming.
Anyone wanna make any corrections to that? What about interpretations?

Hey can somebody PLEASE tell me what a "Molillo" is? The only reference to the word that I can find online is "Hay Un Molillo En Mi Bolsillo!" meaning: "There's a WOCKET in my pocket!" ... but surely Pitingo is not singing about a Dr. Seuss character, is he?!

There is famous cante very similar called "cante de las mirris".
DESDE SANLUCAR AL PUERTO HAY UN CARRIL QUE LO HAN HECHO LAS MIRRIS DE IR Y VENIR.
"from Salucar to Puerto There is a rail Las Mirris have done it by come and go"
Some experts think that this cante talks about two sisters called Las Mirris who used to go very often, almost daily, from Sanlucar to el Puerto (de Santa Maria) as one of them's husband was working there building a prison. Therefore by come and go everyday the systers made a sort of path.
Thanks guys... I wish every artist had a small section in the sleeve where they actually explained what their letras mean. It would mean losing some of the magic of interpretation, but perhaps it would give the listener a better understanding of the "spirit" of the cante.
That said, I still enjoy Pitingo's work, despite the fact that I don't understand a word of it!

Well, my english it's not very good but i can try to translate the song some better:
There is love to be told, there is love that are feigned, there is love to be told, but there is love to keep for yourself and this is which is felt.
That broken love i don't want it, what my soul really want is eternal love
Since i look at you so much i'm becaming like you since i look at you so much If the sea is so blue it's because it looks at the sky so much
Broken hearts, i don't want them, because when i give mine one I give it all
And as Salomon said (Don't know in spanish what Pitingo says here) and as Salomon said knowing how to love is enough to sing well
And in Candela's house there is a lane which has been brought by el Molilo.
Well, in flamenco songs it's usual to tell several things that don't have have a point with each other. They are like sung falsetas :)
