Flamenco in Granada!
Hola! So I just got accepted to a summer study program in Granada and while I'm waiting on a couple of other programs (in Barcelona + Madrid, I think), I'll probably end up picking Granada. So part of my plan was to study a little bit with a teacher there, make the most of my time in the heart of Andalucía, so I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations of teachers/schools to learn from. I'm a beginner, guitar for a few years and flamenco since the summer. Any recommendations/advice would be very welcome! :) Gracias.
Emilio Maya just started up his own studio in the Albaicin, the old Moorish quarter of Granada. Peña Flamenca on Calle San José. He'll have a website up soon and I'll post the link when its ready. Other good teachers can be found at Carmen Las Cuevas or try Alberto, Simon has taken classes with him and should have his contact details. Am sure that Anders and Simon who both live here as well can give you more info on teachers and personal recommendations.
