Two of my youtube vids, one of Moraito playing a different version of Buleriando and one of Paco Serrano accompanying Lucas de Ecija were removed due to copyright infringement as said by Encuentro. This is mierda de toro! These clips weren't the property of Encuentro. I could understand if they were from the Encuentro video series but that wasn't the case.
Damn! a few others were removed as well. Anything I had that features any of Encuentro's guitarists on their vids has been removed. Didn't know Encuentro owned the rights to all their lives and any work done apart from Encuentro.
Ricardo, if your ever asked by Encuentro to do a video, beware. Your life will no longer be yours and all your youtube vids will be pulled.

Seriously though, perhaps your right and Encuentro only wanted their vids pulled and maybe youtube pulled anything featuring the names of the Encuentro artists. I feel better now.
It seems they are cracking down on this sort of thing, and perhaps unfairly so. We saw similar threats over tabs a while back, so you've gotta wonder if there's some spectacled guy sitting in an office in his double-breasted suit, smoking a cigar and saying: "how can we make things difficult for amature guitarists?"
If you ask me, it might even be a shady plot by rap music execs!

Your very close JBASH but what I feel is this same scenario but this guy actually is learning to play flamenco. He's removing all these clips and saving them on his pc for himself to use. He has the cash but doesn't want to payup for the Encuentro vids so he's copying these vids and getting them that way. The scoundrel!
Tom, we talked about this a few days ago. I emailed ENCUENTRO and talked to them. They are not doing it, it is YOUTUBE. Covering their butts while giving Encuentro a hard time for making a claim. You know, now everyone points fingers at Encuentro like they are the bad guys. Read in Audio uploads "Nunez DAnces".
