At the end, could somebody tell me a definition of flamenco?
And the thing with competitions for best "foreign" guitarists .. sorry. This is racistic. Like the last seats in the bus are especially for black people. Or women-football. I cant stand the whole mindset of this flamenco-world. And the strangest thing is, that not the spanish people execute most of these silly statements but the foreigners about themselves. Thats a reason to stop playing flamencoguitar. These discussions never end. Better to switch to other music, no? . I will.

I think singing is measured too high. Its just another instrument like a violin or trumpet, only with the ability to produce words (And as I told in past, most often it would have been better to not using these kind of poems). Singing can only produce one tone at one time. A guitar is much more efficient and offers much more options to produce music. So its not possible to sing for guitarplaying. If I wanna use a computer, I dont have to undersand the soucecode of windows xp at first. I just check how it works (and most of the people can handle it without the users manual) and simply use it.

You are free to have that opinion if you want, but flamenco started with cante, gravitates around it and still is the core of it. And thats a fact neither your or my opinion will change.

yes but u saying that soccer players born in Australia could never play for the Italian league because the italians were born into the tradition and they won the world cup.
is not so much what u said , is the delivery and the other stuff u said in the process of saying this.
u not a bad guy, and i dont think u mean this stuff to come out the way it does sometimes. the problem here is that you place too litlle value on the feelings of those u might be stepping allover, even if you were right.

There still are some who do, but i dont think they get any marketing. And its true that it has become more commersialized and people wants to cash in, but in lot of ways i think that has to do about survival. And a lot of commersial artists prefer doing the real thing when they dont have the demands of a record company at their throat.

Hey Florian,
just because you mentioned romanian tractor!
About 35 years ago my father lived in romania for 2 years! His job was importing many tractors from romania to iran. I think the name of the tractor company was UTB "Usiana tractrul Brasove" in city Brasove!
I think these tractors are not that bad!!! So if want such a tractor, just give me a call! i have good connections
