Festival de Jerez

You can find the program for next festival in the following address
http://www.villamarta.com/programacion/VIIIfestivaldejerez.htm
so start buying your tickets online. I more interested with the shows at the peñas or in the Museo Turino. Although I´ll go to the Farruquito and Comapañia de Andres Marin as Tomatito will be playing in that show.

Melchor,
I've never been to the Villamarta before. If you click on VENTA DE LOCALIDADES Y ABONOS, you see the different seats and prices. Which seats are the best to get? I'd like to see Farruquito.

Phil Teatro Villamarta is not that big so anywhere is a nice seat. When I´ll go in January i´ll buy a ticket for Farruquito as well, so wait for me and we´ll buy them together. I am really looking forward to go to Jerez and take more classes with Manuel. I havent been there since September.

Un saludo

Melchor

RE: Festival de Jerez/cheap flights (in reply to Fergusito

It may be a little late for you Fergus but anyone else thinking of flying UK to Spain should take a look at easyjet website. They are doing incredible offers, I just paid €40 euros for a return flight Malaga - London luton.

I am attending the festival from the 27th Feb. Do you know of any cheap lodgings or hotels close to the Flamenco scene? Thanks
Mike..

Anyone can recommend not expensive place to stay in Sivilia (can be a room) during the Jerez festival (Beggining of March) for a week?
Thanks,
Tali

RE: Festival de Jerez (in reply to Melchor

I am interested in coming to Sivilia for taking lessons in Flamenco (maybe in Alicia Markez studio) on March 2005 and looking for another student as a partner for sharing a room and for touring the place, festivals etc.
