What is yours Thats actually a really good question, i didnt think it would be so hard when i wrote the post. Kate makes some good points about it, it depends on whats going on i guess. If your at a party with a lot of people who arnt flamencos, ironically enough rumba probably would be one of the more enjoyable things to just jam along to and you know people will enjoy. Purely from a guitarists point of view i always seem to warm up with solea, like you say its easily adapted to suit your own level. I love tarantas, more for the key than anything. Also granaina i find the key very rewarding and rondena tuning as well. Buleria of course is the most exciting (and challenging) to play, and tangos is always fun. Im going to have to go with 'it depends'. Theyre all good though. The one palo i want to work on and get to a reasonable level is buleria, not necessarily in the normal key though. I cant even answer this question with a single palo, i guess its not that black and white!
