I think Oscar Soriano also sometimes play picado with index and ring (but not always)
Like at 0:48 , 4:11 , etc

Other than he plays with a strap, something which Ricardo will surely approve, he gives me a very Estas Tonne vibe

Pinky index picado in 0:44 and in 1:00 and of course in other parts of the video. Only as burst thought? Or have you found longer runs?

index and pinky?!? wtf.

what could be the benefit? is it done out of neccessity?

i rememeber years ago going through gerardos encuentro and he had all the picado excercises with every combo of fingers if i recall correctly? (not pinky)

I thought at the time ....jeez reallly? whos got the time and wherewithall for that. I still dont think i will ever want to play picado with any other combo other than i and m. but i imagine practicing excercises with all the combos can only make your right hand more awesome!
