Jeronimo Maya Capo 5th fret

How the f.... does he play that chord at 0:30?

The heel of my Sanchis doesn't allow me to get a necessary grip position with my thumb to be able to have enough pressure in my index to do that barre, with capo at 5th.

Is it just me and my fat fingers or what.
Must be the heel difference I guess

By the way,, this must be one of the most beautiful falsettas ever.

Ok I almost got it, but i need to change guitar holding position and guitar neck upwards. My thumb is almost at bottom of neck and all the pressure on the side of the Index. Fxxx this. I'm just gonne change capo to 4th

I know his "secret" which is actually no secret. His pinky is as long as his index finger. As simple as that.

That is why he does not have to change anything in his holding and he casually plays chords that need 7 fingers.

There are more people out there of course. The husband of my wife's sister has this. So when I was totally frustrated trying to play a Jeronimo granaina some years ago, I asked him to grab an impossible chord (he is also a classical guitar teacher). He played it in a second, having never studied any flamenco or stressing his limits everyday as I do.

Conclusion, very damn long pinky!!!!

On the downside, he will not be as famous as other guitar gods because almost no-one can play his falsetas that monster

Ok I have the solution.
Just need to quickly flick off the second Capo at 0:36 and continue the falsetta
