Brandon Acker schools YouTube agitator

I really enjoyed this. The guy was ripping it out of Holdsworth in the last video I Sor. He's being humbled by Acker in this. I know it's classical, but I reckon there are some great lessons in expression for one's playing in this video.

OMG - I'm glad I play flamenco and not classical anymore.

The sor hands guy is a button pushing click baiter for people like me. I get really irritated with his videos, even if that is his sarcastic point. I don't find it amusing. I have dropped comments on a few, the first one that got me going was when he criticizes some random electric guitar teacher for teaching three note per string scales (notice him screw that scale at 1:08:02 cuz he poo poo those types of runs)...but there are many. I get that it helps attract new viewers by pissing them off.

Anyway, I am going crazy because I remember seeing Acker either giving advice or getting criticized for the Bach Gm violin Sonata fugue, suggesting some crap rhythms to bring out the phrases ruining the thing. I can't find that one, I thought it was this sor guy too.

Watching these guys complain about cold fingers....yes been there done that, it is fake psychological thing that many of us got over and it becomes a non issue.

First I’ve heard of him. He reminds me of Devil hand - showing his lack of musical maturity. narrow minded ridicule of everything. Watched a couple of his other vids. He always says that he’s completely booked on lessons. What? If that’s really true then it’s working for him.

So is he trying to get into a conservatory program?
