El baile de verdad

I am not a fan of modern baile, which seems more danza que baile.

However Fuensanta, from Granada, is different and guitarrists should pay attention.

Interesting alzapua there; when I started learning flamenco guitar that was put off as "beginner's" mistake (i.e. moving the thumb like a plectrum)

Flamenco guitar should not sound like this. I don't like it.
It reminds me of amerimenco or this video.

Me too, first thing I thought of after I had thought of Gerardo Nunez.

Guys. No way. It's an insult to the beautiful sound of oud.

Maybe moderne, but seriously rooted in tradition that it’s not an issue. I liked it, she did not ‘phone it in’ she was emotionally engaged with the baile. I like it. Nice cante for baile, there’s nothing not to like here. So a little oud stuff where thumb is used as a risha isn’t going to kill anyone.

Yes. I like it more. Flamenco baile in its purest form. That's why they're having fun. But not my age group.

@Retro Bowl How does Fuensanta from Granada distinguish her baile from modern styles, blending elements of danza and traditional flamenco in a way that captivates audiences?

It's strange that the first words in your first post is a hidden link @Thomas. Could you post something else meaningful to prove you're not an AI bot?
