I am not a fan of modern baile, which seems more danza que baile. However Fuensanta, from Granada, is different and guitarrists should pay attention.

Maybe moderne, but seriously rooted in tradition that it’s not an issue. I liked it, she did not ‘phone it in’ she was emotionally engaged with the baile. I like it. Nice cante for baile, there’s nothing not to like here. So a little oud stuff where thumb is used as a risha isn’t going to kill anyone.
