Were your ears burning?

That thread has been ressurected then? From 2018?

Who's the dude who's necro posted supporting the Dr? I guess I mean what was his name here?

Just wondering if I can recall his experience here.

Like you say Fawkes, the only people I ever really remember getting short shrift here were the types that come on and act up. Then members make no bones about telling them to sort it out or listen etc.

And yeah as forums go. And with things like twitter and FB be etc. This place is like a church fete.

Ruben is the snobbiest dimwit I've seen to date anywhere; just cannot stand him. I wonder what clueless kids go to him to learn flamenco?

What needs to be frankly stated is that unlike other teachers who students can argue pro and cons regarding teaching methods and material, Diaz is factually DANGEROUS as a person. I wish it was only a few gullible people that fell into the scams, but sadly, I have been privately contacted many many times by people that wanted to either ask me advice or simply vent their frustration to someone that understood what he has been doing to people in bad faith. Tens of thousands of dollars tricked out of people’s bank accounts plus threats of legal repercussions if anything is pursued or publicly stated about the incidents. As to why or how the guy can be like this, I will only say that the state of Mexico with the cartels etc., driving otherwise good people to do bad things is understandable. At this point I am surprised the guy is still active, but I guess he as been smart enough not to rip off the wrong people. Time will tell, but avoid at all cost. The “Ruben Drones” are probably to be forgiven, so best to ignore them until they snap out of it (which they will inevitably when they figure out how they have been duped).

aside the guitars thats sounds like cheap plastic (ones with maple neck and many holes) , its suspicious when someone gives you 50% off price for a new expensive guitar after many drinks.
Also strange that sometimes he plays "normal" and other times seems like having parkinson or something like that (you know what i mean)

needs help and reevented himself , he could achieve greatness
