Captação GT02-N by Harmonik Microphones - Guitar Amplification System
This is an active (9V-battery powered) triple-source guitar pickup / amplification / electronics system that is *extremely* impressive. It has two microphones (one internal and one external) and a traditional under-the-saddle piezo element. The unit comes with a preamp that can blend the two microphones with the piezo to achieve the desired sound. This allows you to cater to either live performance or studio recording (more piezo while performing live, and more microphones while recording in the studio). It is a simple yet effective, all-in-one solution that is just plug-and-play. Just get a professional to install it for you, and you're good to go. You can adjust the gain on the microphones and on the piezo (using the supplied tool - set it and forget it - just do this once to adapt to your instrument, and no need to further mess with it) to balance their signals, then you can blend effectively to your taste. The unit also has a tone knob to subtly EQ the output. The killer feature on this setup is the FS (feedback suppression) button on the preamp which literally does magic. It is a truly unique and highly effective technology that eliminates feedback using very specific frequencies, therefore achieving a very precise outcome without impacting the overall tone or sound of your instrument. It seriously mystified me as to how well it works even at ultra-loud volumes and with me *facing* the guitar amp cabinet! This is such a wonderful unit that only requires drilling a hole in the tail of the instrument and a tiny hole in the bridge. The output jack sends a mono signal, which works easily with just a standard TS instrument cable.

At 0:00, I play this guitar and record only using an external microphone, a Rode NT4 stereo XY microphone. At 1:57, I play this guitar and record only using the GT02-N Guitar Amplification System by Harmonik Microphones. I have the Tone control set to 50%, and the Blend control set to 30% microphones and 70% piezo (so that I can capture the golpes and give the sound some air so I can tame the piezo yet still reject feedback and cut through the mix). Your thoughts?
I am demonstrating the Feedback Suppression (FS) button / feature of this system. This thing is pure magic! I have literally never seen anything like this before. You can get SUPER loud with this system, and with one push of a button, the feedback instantly disappears. Impressive! (By the way, I did not want to crank the amp even louder because I was worried the neighbors would call the cops on me LOL but I had tried that briefly, reaching 114 dB, and there was still no feedback)
