quote:
They've put together a record dedicated to La Niña de los Peines and Niño Ricardo. They even made it sound like it was recorded in the 1930s. Old school is the new modern. Suits me just fine, as I have always preferred "Old School" flamenco to modern--Sabicas, Nino Ricardo, Nina de los Peines, Chocolate, and others. Also glad to see vinyl LP records are the thing now with CDs dying out, as I've kept all of my vinyl LPs from the early '60s and still have a 50-year old stereo unit to play them on. But then, I still have a landline telephone but don't have an I-phone or a cell phone of any type. Three cheers for "Old School." Bill
