Thanks for that, Piwin. I curled up my fingers deliberately as I was finding I would naturally anchor. I'm relaxing now, loose hand, no anchor.

Advice is a dangerous commodity. Dispensing advice comes with responsibility, and hopefully, given with humility.

I have no expectations of your actually doing this, and it might even be unfair of me to ask, but why don't you post a video or some audio of yourself playing a piece? There used to be regular challenges on the Foro (I wish there still were), many members have heard each others' music.

If you did that, then it might be easier for me and others to trust your that advice has some foundation.

Here's how my pulgar is looking.

Main reason I am posting is to share this with Ricardo. Some time ago I changed his Manuel Morao seguiriyas interpretation that he'd taught. I prefer this beat 3 to 4 move compared to his i up down move to make the 'math' work out. It feels better to me, what do you think Ricardo maybe it works better for you too?

Here you can also see how Ricardo's pulgar is looking and his M.Morao seguiriyas interpretation.

I took inspiration from Manuel Parrilla here:

Sometime later I re-configured it so it actually fits Compás. Here is slow then fast:

Your version is fine but you need to do a golpe on the tricky spot. It should be preceded by a Fretted E note so that makes the golpe really tricky at fast tempo.

Thanks for that, Orson.

And thank you to everyone for your suggestions and observations. I am relaxing my hand and angling much more perpendicularly. It has helped a lot already.

Cheers!
Nigel
