In Spanish a whole note is a redonda. Successive subdivisions are blanca, negra, corchea, semicorchea....

Thus sixteenth notes are semicorcheas. They are counted much as in English, eight semicorcheas in 4/4 time: un-e-y-a, dos-e-y-a.

Eee

And the e is pronounced ey/eh

But maybe you're just setting up some funnies with your question so sorry if I took it seriously.

Yeah I've not heard Spanish flamenco folk counting 16th like you ask rafa. Turns into taka taka like Orson said

I've not really heard that way either tbh.

But I know y is the word for AND, and that's how you'd pronounce it normally. So.....

The Spanish men's soccer/futbol team employed the sixteenth notes rhythm TIKITAKA when they played in the world cup 2, 3 cycles ago. Sorry I have to put this in.

While I was a classically trained trumpet playing kid, the answer I gave was what I picked up from my Spanish speaking classical friends. I'm not surprised that flamencos say something different.

My trumpeting friends also imitated double-tonguing: "tiki-taka," and triple-tonguing: "tikiti-takata".

Yes. Exactly what I wrote above. I believe gitanos count subdivisions like this:
Four 16th notes ta-ka-ta-ka
16th note triplet ta-ka-ta

@rafapak
You can count triplets ra-fa-pak ra-fa-pak if you want to. Just kidding because the last k gets in the way.
