You get more feedback on these which guitar is it posts if you put them in the General section- not everyone reads the Luthiers section- maybe a dozen people read this Section- 😂

Rafa what are you hoping to gain from this post?

Are you considering buying a guitar by this luthier?

Silly question maybe, (but they are fashionable) Do you have a guitar at the moment?

I'm assuming you have visited his website?

https://www.koivistoguitars.com/?page_id=161#

You could ask joonas but he is clearly a fan so you know what he would say.

You are wasting your time with this kinda question, old egg. In the hands of a good guitarist, any guitar will sound good. A guitar is about YOU. What YOU like to play. What feeling YOU get from it. You seem to have ignored others' suggestions, or at least not even acknowledged them.

Some of the best guitarists play instruments you might find really nasty. I've played other pros' electric guitars and basses and many were horrible for me but they made them sound wonderful and they loved them.

You need to try some guitars. You are a beginner, don't waste ANY CASH on an expensive instrument until you are more experienced and have more indication about what you want, what you like, and how to tell a decent guitar from a crap one.

Just get yourself a Yamaha Flamenco. They sound ok and play really well. And you can sell it on later when you have a guitar more to your liking.

My opinion is that every guitar (free of defects) is decent, but Conde is better.

Can you guys keep your crazy students over in the general section? We’re trying to ruin expensive wood here and this is disruptive.

Estebanana, I think that is a very interesting idea that your fish has. Do you know what the thickness of the wood is and whether it is torrified?

Estebanana (Stephen Faulk) is selling a guitar he built (I think…it was for sale recently anyway). I think you should stay at home and buy that guitar. I have played his guitars and they are great.

Here, you don’t even have to leave the Luthier section:

And in six months when you've had face to face lessons and learned some basics, then you can fly to Spain and do your tour of the guitar shops and makers and enjoy the process a lot more because you'll be able to actually play some flamenco on a guitar and it will probably be easier to get a guitar that suits you.

That is pretty much what I play all the gigs with these days.
