Recording app help please.
Hi friends,
I need some help here. Do you know a recording app, a simple one, (my technical skills reach as far as turning a lightbowl in), that can record two tracks, and hear the first track, While recording the second?

If you're on a computer, then pretty much any DAW will have that ability, but the simplest program that out there is probably Audacity (it's also free!), so that's what I'd recommend
If you're on a phone, then your guess is as good as mine

During the pandemic I was doing some karaoke singing by playing the audio track through a Bluetooth speaker from one device (computer or IPad) and capturing the singing along to the track with with my phone. Acoustic in other words. Poor man’s multitracking. Here is the example: I created the backing track first:
Then singing and “lead” guitar :
This was the song I was recreating:
They actually commented on my version
Here is a less involved one….the poly phonic intro from the third guitar trio album. Recorded John’s part and I am playing Paco’s along to it:

When I did that Ben woods tango thing he asked “dude, your audio sounds like it was just with a cel phone cam or something. Can you do a better audio?”.
I said “no man, can you make everybody else sound like they are in my kitchen too?” . He said “I’ll do my best!”.

In my yought I played chromatic harmonica. Did not play it in 30 years I think, but recently I bought one, and still could play some old songs. On a second hand site, I could buy a very large chord 48 Hohner to play the accompanimenting chords, so I want to fool around a bit with it.
