Hey Spanish speaker here

Hi guys,

This is Migb.
I joined this forum because there are no Spanish forums for Flamenco and I don't live in Spain anymore.

You will see a new post from asking for support for a change.org request to translate Rito y geografia del cante flamenco, one of the most important flamenco documentaries. Unfortunately it's only available in Spanish language.

It’s a very nice idea; but unfortunately, implementing it would/will require a very great deal of work on the part of someone or other, and I doubt whether the financial return on such a project could possibly make it worthwhile.

My guess is that it could not. Have you better information?

Didn't they do that already? - 72 out of the 99 episodes were restored and available with English subtitles.

Example:

Or is the petition about the rest - to restore the remaining episodes and add English subtitles to them?

Actually I have the dvd set, it is 72. 4 programs per disc and there are 18 produced.

Anyway it says petition is closed anyway so I doubt the OP will return here to discuss the topic.

Looks like you have 72 episodes with eng subs including Guitarra 2. The remaining 71 are available on youtube.
