Looking to Buy a New Guitar

I am looking to buy a new Flamenco guitar as a step up from my Cordoba GK Studio. I want to buy a luthier made guitar and I was wondering if there are any luthiers I should look into. Currently I am looking at Ethan Deutsch and Andy Culpepper and my budget is around $2,000 - $4,000. I am located in the United States.

I’ve played one example of each maker and they are both excellent in terms of sound and feel. I guess I like the look of ethans guitar, they are quite handsome.

I have a blanca from Andy. I can make a review for you if that'd help...

Hello! I am sure the guitar makers already mentioned are absolutely great!

I feel I have to suggest Vassilis Lazarides. Here is an example that costs 2600 dollars and of course Lasonanta has a money back guarantee as all the online shops. You cannot go wrong with Lazarides. https://www.lasonanta.com/flamenco-guitars/cypress-guitars/jeronimo-maya-flamenco-guitar-blanca-mother-of-pearl-inlays-on-rosette-and-bridge

It's nice to hear from someone who has played both! I love the look of Ethan's guitars and have decided to go with one of his!

The thread opener is USA-based. Lasonanta is in Europe.

Currently I'm searching for a tool you have on your guitar. A tool like ergoplay. Could you do a video about the tool you have or maybe about this tool in general? Pros and cons etc.

Check out my YouTube channel for videos on that. Search for "guitar support".

Thanks. You have other useful videos on your channel. For example a video about Flamenco sitting positions. Although I didn't understand what you were saying (obviously it's Arabic) it was informative to me. Btw, you forgot to mention O. Herrero. His sitting position is the last one you showed.

Another sitting position is Tomatito at 4:26. Also Diego del Morao in the 2nd video. But this is obviously not for practicing for hours. If someone is in performance mode for a few minutes it would be ok I guess.

I have a Blanca that I've been looking to post for some time! It is a Salvador Castillo Blanca, Spruce top and Cypress Side/back. If you are interested I'll post the details and pictures/sounds/video.
