Where to buy in the United States? 
Looking to buy a decent flamenco guitar up to around $2000. I'm retired so have to watch the $. I would like to have it delivered from a U.S. retailer since during this COVID thing I am avoiding public places. I've been playing since I was a kid - about every style you can imagine. I now have a Cordoba Fusion guitar. Its not junk but has a typical factory sound. Cordoba makes a couple of flamenco guitars and they are readily available but I'm not hearing much love for them here on the forum. As far as my ability, I can play full pieces by Albeniz for example, like Cadiz and Cuba without too much difficulty. The only thing I like about the Fusion is the smaller neck and its radius. However I can adapt. Really getting into flamenco now. Learning "Ventanas Al Alma" by Vicente Amigo.

One can't go wrong with Navarro guitars. They do ship in the USA.

Consider a more expensive (than Navarro) second-hand luthier-made guitar too, perhaps? If you're lucky, it'll be in your price range.

Seconding Ramzi's idea, you may call Dan Zeff to see what he has, under the assumption he has received something he hasn't yet posted to his site. He's in the greater Los Angeles area.

Zavaleta's La Casa de Guitarras, located in Oro Valley, just north of and adjacent to Tucson, Arizona, is a marvelous guitar emporium for both flamenco and classical guitars. The owner, James Greenberg, runs it out of his home in Oro Valley, and one must make an appointment to meet him and see his guitars. He imports medium to high end flamencos, largely from Spain, and he also sells guitars on consignment.

Several years ago I made arrangements to meet James to view and play his guitars. I ended up buying a Manuel Adalid flamenca blanca (Viviana) that had a fine set-up and beautiful sound. It cost me $2,500. James also collects vintage guitars, and he let me play a 1935 Santos Hernandez, which was a real treat. Although I did not do it justice, it was fun just to be able to hold and play an original Santos Hernandez.

James is an interesting person. He, his wife (who is from Oaxaca, Mexico), and I went out to a Mexican restaurant for dinner. He is a professor of applied anthropology at the University of Arizona in Tucson, specializing in various aspects of the borderlands. To sum up, Zavaleta's has a fine selection of flamenco guitars, and James is a very accommodating and interesting person. You can access Zavaleta's website at:

Another option is Tom Nunez from this forum, his site is Lafalseta.com. He’s also a knowledgeable builder himself in Texas . You could get a Sanchis 2F In your price range.

I bought my guitar from Dan Zeff about 5 years ago.
I feel I got a good deal. (prices are negotiable)
But it would be best to go there and try out some guitars.
There is also Solera Flamenca in L.A.
My teacher got his guitar there and it is awesome. I think he paid $2700.
You could hit both places on one trip and try many guitars.
Also check out the builders here on the Foro, you might have to up your price though but maybe they have something in your price range.

Not sure if Salvador Castillo ships to the US but he builds out of Mexico and his Guitars sound fantastic! I bought a blanca from someone here in Foro years back (June 2016) and to date it is my favorite guitar. He sold it to me for $1500. Would buy any of his guitars for under 2000.
