METRONOME Graf-Martinez

Does anyone know if it's still possible to download / buy the Graf-Martinez Flamenco Metronome software for Windows?

The website says it is not available.

Thanks

I used the buy option last Friday, Feb 3rd. The software is supposed to be delivered electronically within 48hrs of the time your credit card is charged. My card was charged on Feb 3rd and I still have not received the software.

I began checking into it last Monday, Feb 6th. It took me until yesterday to get a actual, non-computer generated, response from anyone. I was told that the software had been sent but the e-mail was continually 'bounced." Sort of inexplicable as I get e-mail from all over the world. So, I set up another e-mail account on a different server. As of this writing I still do not have the software.

I would be very cautious when ordering right now! Too bad as it looks like that metronome would be very helpful.

Geko,
Why don't you have a look at www.guitartechnique.com?
Instant download, no hassle, cheap and does the biz!
That's what I use.
Not much advertised...you've gotta find it LOL!

cheers

Ron

Ron:

I have Flamenco Master and use it often. However, the Graf-Matinez metronome looked like it would provide a beginner with a better understanding of compas' for different palos. He**, anything is worth a shot for me right now. "I ain't got no rhythm!"

Geko,
Any metronome will not do better than any other metronome.
"Flamenco Master" is capable of taking you to a pretty high standard of understanding and being able to play in compás....
Without a doubt.
Save your money here amigo...
Don't spend more money on more metronomes...spend more concentrated effort on practise.
Nothing else can do the job for you...you can't buy technique...only guides...
It's the "Oil of Ulay" syndrome..the one that they advertise to make women look 10 years younger.
If it don't work then try "Garniere"...
"Cos you're worth it!" LOL!
As I've said before...If you were Donald Trump or any of the multi-millionares, (or even billionares) around the world.
You may be able to buy out IBM or Glaxo...
But you couldn't buy Paco's technique.

cheers

Ron

Do they send the package per eMail? Then it couldwell be that your mail provider limits the max. size of a single email and bounces bigger ones. I would assume this to be the problem and ask for a different way to get the software, maybe via download...

Oh well, on to plan B.

Just kidding. I downloaded the demo version of that flamenco master metronome, and it seems very user friendly. Thanks for the link, Ron.

Flamenco Master is the best on the market, period. And by the way, our very own Ron is the developer of Flamenco Master, so he knows what he is talking about.

Ah! I've just downloaded the registered version of Flamenco Master. It looks great and is reasonably priced. Many thanks for the recommendations.

Well, it does not appear that I'm going to get the Graf-Martinez metronome anyway, so I guess I'm stuck with Ron's product.

As far as practice goes, I'm only doing about 3 or so hours daily. Should I increase it? Being retired it helps to keep me out of the bars.

My understanding is that the e-mail contains just the license key and a pointer to where the software can be downloaded.

No chance of that. It's something folks should know and you to be proud of.

Many guitarists skip beats. My advice: Turn off the computer!
