Just wondering, anyone know of any good schools or recommended teachers to go to in Huelva? Im planning a two week trip to the Jerez-Sevilla area, and always wanted to spend a bit more time, than the 48hrs i had in the past in spent in or around Huelva, picking up my guitar from Anders Eliasson.
Specifically looking to get opportunities to learn some of the specific variations of Fandangos in the area and the cante accompaniment for it.
I lived in Huelva for 8 months, 5 years ago. While there I had lessons from a few people. This guy, Joaquin Brito, was the most consistent. He’s recently become involved in teaching flamenco at the university there so.... He was the resident teacher at the local music shop at the time. I only have a Facebook connection though. ‘Dmg Brt Joaki’

Any input appreciated.
My friend Pepe, whom I mentioned previously, writes further:
quote:
These tracks are:

Is there enough interest for me to post them here? And can one, in fact, post .m4as? Clearly I can’t do so without asking the original artists, but I don’t mind doing that if enough people want it.
Paul, thanks very much for the kind offer, that would be great to get an idea of the variations going on.
José Luís de la Paz has now very kindly given me permission to post here the tracks of the now-deleted album Besana, by Eduardo Garrocho and himself. He says:
quote:
So I shall be posting these in the Audio & Video Uploads section, under the heading Fandangos de Huelva: the 14 basic styles.
