Does anyone know how paco executes his rasgueados. Just wandering if its difficult or not. It sounds very fast. Would greatly appreciate the input. Thanks Stevo
Which recording(s), which piece, where in the piece (time)? Alot of us know. There are lots of paco vids out there too. Yes, they are all hard when first learning.
Thank you everyone for your input. I greatly appreciate it. Ron is the P an upbeat, or whats the order? And also are the fingers being kicked out from the hand or are they just following eachother into the strings? It seems kind of akward when trying to push each finger out. Well hope you can help.
Yep Steve, the p is up and the a,i down. No need for "explosive" force or things being "kicked out" or anything... It's all coming from the wrist in a relaxed way. Just "whipping" the strings...is the velocity that counts...not strength. But the timing?..To make it sound like that? Ah ...well that's a different issue and one you'll have to practise hard at, as did Paco himself...
