simple rasgueos?

Anyone aware of any resources with collections of simple rasgueos for different palos?

One of the things that I like about Juan Martin's famous book of progessive solos is that he stars with simplified rasgueos that work in compas. Unfortunately the material is limited and I'm sure there are a lot of different techniques, but I don't know if there is resource that would show strums for specific palos. I have fairly uneven fingers and bad dexterity, but I still get the itch to try

I did find this once, but I didn't get it. Not sure if it shows them in each palo though.

You mention JM’s ‘famous book of progressive solos’ and say the material is ‘limited’, but have you looked at Volume 2 of Solos Flamencos or the two newer volumes/DVDs of Essential Flamenco Guitar? Some useful stuff there.

I would never dare to call any rasgueo "simple"...I think it depends on the rhythm what kind of rasgueo you're using.

Oscar Herrero Paso A Paso DVD vols. 1 and 2 (covers all technique at basic-intermediate level), and 3 (advanced [-ish!])

techniques, including rajeo, are applied to solea, bulerias, tangos and alegrias. but it's thorough enough that from there you can apply to everything else.

it's also extremely explanatory and methodical.

and he is a bordon minero prize winner and ex second guitarist to both Serranito and Enrique de Melchor.

For a look at pretty much all and every palo Merengue de Cordoba Encuentro DVD. Technique is ropey, but if you apply how Herrero does rajeo to what Merengue does you are there.
