New York City greetings

Hello guys, long time lurker and admirer of the huge wealth of knowledge here. My tastes as far as strictly Flamenco goes is mainly in the "traditional" soloist guitar realm. Sabicas (one of my biggest heroes!!!), Paco Pena, Juan Serrano, Manolo Sanlucar, Nino Ricardo, Montoya, Oscar Herrero, OLDER Paco de Lucia (before all of the Jazz fusion stuff...*vomit*), etc. you get the point. Haha. I avoid Gypsy Kings like the plague but am captivated by SOME of Rafeal Cortez, he is an exceptional player. I'm still technically in my first year of learning to play (a crappy pause in learning due to broken thumb) and have been enjoying the ride/stresses/excitements/fun/passion of it all! Glad to step out of the shadows and make all of your acquaintances
