it's rumba actually, played por medio and he often adds tango flavour to it

A pretty big portion of what you hear with street rumberos nowadays is basically Manolo Escobar or slight variations thereof. They'll drunkenly yell porompompero at you until you give them something. I don't think Escobar's music was considered flamenco at all during his time and I'm not really sure what the common view is today (probably just copla?). I guess they're rumberos but it's also hard to put them in the same category as the catalan rumberos who have really taken that form to a whole other level than what you hear in Andalucia. Porompompero is the Wonderwall of Spanish guitar music. It might be a good song, it might not be. But nobody really remembers now. We just know that we hate it because of the sheer amount of times people have requested you play it during a party.
Give me the Gipsy Kings any day over Andalucian rumberos!
But that's me, if you want to learn stuff like this, I would definitely recommend learning some Escobar's big hits. They're all over the place in that genre.

Just make sure you look up Manolo Escobar and not Pablo Escobar. The latter will probably just be tutorials on how to smuggle drugs in a guitar
