compas question

https://youtu.be/TsXd4KC0et0

Is this compas correct? I can't work out why this should be OK... strange section starts on 1 at 7:32

Anyone got any ideas if and how this is right? Seems like the gulpe that usually hits 5 is on 1.5.

It's completely wrong. And since that falseta is traditionally for baile, you really can't just play around with the compas like that (not that you can anyways, but this one is meant to be boxed in so it's all the more "shocking" to be that off).
In the most basic form of that falseta, the F that starts that chromatic descent on the last compas doesn't start on 1 like he does but on 5 of the compas before.

around minute 3. don't know who this is but he's doing it in compas.

Muchas beaucoup y merci gracias Piwin!!

I may have a chance, after too long away, to get back to playing for dance classes. So video like that are a great source of variations & perfect material for me right now.

Yeah, that decending run from 5 on F, it's in the Paco Pena book, threw me for a long time, but I'm pretty comfortable with it now.

allez, je vais gratter un coup!!

Cheers!

I might learn his way of doing it though, just to screw around with dancers' minds a bit. You know, like solea in 13 and stuff. No no no, I'm sure it's in compas, you're just screwing up your footwork!

Leñador ....

When working with a dancer , you forgot to use the 3 rules for dancers system.

Rule One ....You (guitarist ) are wrong
Rule Two ...You (guitarist ) are always wrong
Rule Three..Tomorrow You (guitarist ) will still be wrong

Once you got used to using the 3 rules its not so bad working with dancers ..

Ha Ha!! You found it already!!

I'm a happy man today. The wife's been out all afternoon leaving me with my guitars & I found myself a virtual dancer to practice with.

By the way. That video mentions 3 "plantas" at the start of the second half. I this where (in basic traditional form) the guitarist plays a "llamada" ? By that I mean just A major with legado on Bb ??

Anyone got any more seguiriyas escobilla videos to thrash along to??
