My frets are usually between 1mm and 1.2mm after leveling and finishing

RE: Quick question regarding fret height (in reply to mounirben

I use stew-mac.com medium fret wire which comes 0.99 mm high and I normally do very little leveling, though I sand each fret with 600 grit to remove the high shine.

I liked the design of the fret wire that lmii.com sold, but they always sent it to me all dinged up which created a lot of extra work for me (gripe, gripe) so I stopped using it. Stew-mac's comes neatly packaged and ding-free.

I like higher frets. .055 or higher. (Dunlop)
I need them to help me with barring and stretching.

A lot of flamenco player swear by lower frets.
