Ole! Got to play for him twice in sanlucar at the bar. Second time I knew more what I was doing and was a great experience. Compared to his bro (who says Diego tries in vain to copy him LOL), he has a deeper tone, less nasaly, and actually knows how to sing buleria way better. I enjoyed most doing solea and Romances with him, but we did a lot of fandangos too. Great guy loves singing all night with no ego or attitude towards us guiris etc.

Really enjoyed that. Great cante, and a falsetta from De Madruga thrown in to boot.

Ricardo, any film footage of you and Diego?

Several people were catching video but nobody ever shared with me.

I'm watching this and I'm thinking that background looks very familiar. Then I see where it was filmed and I realize I was in that pena 2 years ago. Saw an absolutely great show there. Great place.
